Data We Collect

We only collect the personal data you voluntarily provide through our forms:

• Contact form: full name, email, phone (optional), subject, and message.
• Directory listing form: business name, category, commune, contact name, phone, email, and business description.
• Bamako Pass VIP booking: contact details and payment information processed via our provider FeexPay.

Audience measurement is provided by Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), under the conditions described in the Cookies section.

Purpose of Processing

Your data is used to respond to your contact requests, process your directory listing requests, and process your Bamako Pass VIP booking, including the associated payment.

Legal Basis

Processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to your requests, on the steps necessary prior to entering into a contract (Bamako Pass VIP booking, directory listing), and, where applicable, on your consent.

Data Retention

Your contact details are kept for 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted. Data linked to a payment or booking may be kept longer where the law requires it (accounting obligations).

Data Recipients

Your data may be accessed by the site’s editorial team and by technical service providers necessary to operate the site, notably our hosting provider Hostinger (server located in Lithuania, European Union) and our payment service provider FeexPay for the processing of Bamako Pass VIP payments. Requests sent through forms are also recorded in the network’s administration tool, whose database is hosted on our own server (Hostinger, Lithuania, European Union). Backup copies are kept at Cloudflare, Inc. (R2 storage, European Union jurisdiction), whose data processing agreement (DPA) covers this processing.

Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your personal data, and you can withdraw any consent you gave at any time. We reply within one month. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.

Supervisory Authority

If you are a resident of Mali, you may also lodge a complaint with the Autorité de Protection des Données à caractère Personnel (APDP) of Mali, the independent administrative authority responsible for this matter. If you reside in the European Union, you may contact the data protection authority of your country (in France, the CNIL).

Cookies

This site uses technical cookies strictly necessary for it to function and Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to measure its audience (pages viewed, device type, country). If you accept in the banner, Google Analytics sets its measurement cookies. If you refuse, no measurement cookie is set: Google only receives anonymous signals, with no cookie or identifier, used to estimate overall traffic (Google consent mode). Visits are also counted by Umami, a self-hosted audience-measurement tool that uses no cookies and no data that identifies you. Your choice is kept for up to 13 months; you can change it by clearing this site’s data in your browser. No advertising cookies are used.
